There is no place better to race your horse than under the 'ribbon of light' here at Alexandra Park
Alexandra Park is the showplace and headquarters of harness racing in the North Island and as an owner you will find no better place to race your horse.
Industry leading stakes
As of March 1 2019 the ATC Board have announced further increases to stakes – with a $12k minimum stake up for grabs at all non-premier standard meetings. There are two further tiers of stakes level in action at these meetings with a mix of $20k/$25k races to complement each programme (subject to acceptances and the corresponding rating band within each race with a full detailed description of our ATC Racing Policy / Stakes Distribution available for download below).
With 32 meetings in total for The ATC for season 2022/23, there is no time better than the present to be racing your horse here at Alexandra Park.
ATC Racing Policy Document – Click here to download
This document forms the overarching guidelines and policies of the Racing Committee of the Auckland Trotting Club. This document is important as it will direct the Racing Committee towards obtaining the goals as set out by the racing club, to optimise its own position and invigorate harness racing in the region, meeting both the differing needs of both industry and non-industry participants.
Please note that while these programming policies are in place, the Racing Manager needs to ensure that we are maximising our horse population and achieving industry/club defined KPI’s so field selection/final programme make-up is subject to nominations received on a week-to-week basis.
