COVID-19 Update: Auckland returns to Level 3

It feels a bit like déjà vu doesn’t it, as we go back to COVID-19 Alert Level 3 from 6am Sunday 28 Feb.

Unfortunately, that means that once again we are closed to the public, to play our part in fighting this virus.

Franklin Park

Trials & Workouts will continue at Franklin Park and it is restricted to essential horse staff and trainers under Alert level 3.

Franklin is open for training with all staff, trainers & personnel are required to complete the Health Screening Questionnaire on a daily basis.

Racing at Alexandra Park

The next Race Meeting is scheduled to be Friday 19 February 2021 and will be conducted “behind closed doors” which means essential racing personal only and without spectators.

To stay up to date – please visit the HRNZ website for more information and to view any documents you may need to complete during this time.

As always – please feel free to contact Racing Manager – Karen Blanchard if you wish to discuss any important matters.

Do take care of your family, staff, and yourselves in these very changing times.
