Unbeaten Acceptance back at The Park & looking to make it 3 from 3

Dec 22, 2016 Trainer Interviews

John & Josh Dickie have started off the 2016/17 season in fine form and continue to produce winners week after week here at The Park. This Thursday night they look in with a good chance of taking home an early xmas present with three very nice chances lining up, headlined by the very talented and unbeaten 3 -year-old Bettor's Delight gelding Acceptance. The AP newsdesk caught up with son Josh to discuss how his team were heading into the final night of 'xmas at the races' here at The Park and here's what he had to say

Race 1 (3) Kate Black – “She was a bit disappointing last start when she made an uncharacteristic mistake & galloped for no reason. She has come through that first up run well though and in what is quite an even field tonight, if she was to do things right she would rate as a definite top three chance.”

Race 4 (11) Master George – “He qualified really nicely as a 2-year-old but has taken just a little bit of time to mature and get himself to the races. His workout on the weekend was pleasing and he has been building nicely towards a forward showing first up on Thursday night. He does meet quite a nice field of non-winners though and the second line draw won’t make life easy but we expect him to pick up the maiden victory in the not too distant future and are expecting him to put in a solid showing. first up.”

Race 6 (5) Acceptance – “He’s a pretty smart 3-year-old on the rise this horse and he will be looking to make it 3-from-3 tonight. He has gone a couple of really nicely workouts in recent weeks without overdoing it and comes into this race fresh and ready to go a big race. He may find himself one race night run short of his absolute best but his work at home suggests he will be pretty tough to roll in this.”
