Mystery Tipster survives another week and reckons he can send us into the busy xmas period with pockets full

Dec 21, 2016 Tips / Expert Selections

The Mystery Tipster survives another here on the AP Newsdesk courtesy to his B.O.N & Multi anchor Gupta's Cullen never looking in any doubt and returning the loyal followers a very comfortable $3 win price. This week he's been putting in the hours and thinks he's come up with a few for us to follow to send us into the very busy xmas racing period with pockets full. Once again he will be up against our main man Mick Guerin so lets let him put his money where his mouth is & see how good he really is. Here's who our mystery man thinks we need to follow very closely this week.

Best Bet – Race 8 (6) – Spirit Of Delight – Comes into this race fresh & on the back of a very nice workout win here on the track on December 10 beating some very nice types including Northview Hustler who will line up as one of the favourites in the open maiden earlier in the night. This will be her first race as a three-year-old and after lining up against the likes of Spanish Armada & Partyon all throughout her 2-year-old season and not disgracing herself in doing so, she will appreciate the major drop back in class and looks an anchor on all multi tickets for the night.

Each-way – Race 2 (9) – Full Speed Ahead – The night that this guy finally gets some luck in the running, don’t be surprised to see him taking home the prize. Has been unlucky for a number of starts and against tougher opposition than what he meets on Thursday night and with no other runner beside him on the second line, expect him to be able to follow through and find himself a nice posy in the race. He is a tough type and with the speed likely to be on throughout the race, don’t be surprised to see him getting over the top and taking this out.

Longshot – Race 9 (5) – Pegasus Gem – This mare is still a work in progress but she seems to coming to hand fairly quickly. As with any trotter still learning the game, manners are never full proof but her recent workout victory on the weekend just gone gives some real confidence heading into Thursday night as she stepped away and trotted cleanly throughout. The most impressive part of that workout win was the fact that she was up against some race hardened and much higher graded trotters and albeit she had the handicap advantage over them, when looked at at the top of the straight she responded very encouragingly and held off some nice types. One to follow for the upcoming months but not without a good show at nice odds this Thursday in a field that has a few first starters and also some that are prone to making mistakes.
