Patumahoe trainer Geoff Small has two horses lined up at The Park this Friday night and both will feature in races that are part of the grass track graduate series that has been running here at The Park over June & July. Both of the horses he lines up this Friday have won already as part of this series and look to both be in with good chances of more success this Friday.

Here’s what Geoff had to say about the chances of his two runners’ for this Friday night:

Race 2 (9) Major Classic – “ÏHe is racing well and has enjoyed racing in these grass track series type races. He has had two go’s from the stand for one placing and I am expecting him to step well and put the 10m handicap behind him. He can be a tad one dimensional but the 2700m suits and he will keep coming so if he gets a nice run in transit and a tow into at the top of the straight, he would be half a chance of taking this out.”

Race 8 (10) Everlasting Grace – “ÏShe is another that has enjoyed the grass track series and has been performing well of late against similar horses that she meets tonight. The 2700m is probably at the top of her range but if she can get a nice run throughout, she is good enough to compete with this field and be a first three hope.”
