Cambridge trainers Andrew & Lyn Neal need to be respected whenever they bring a horse to Alex Park and this week they have look to have a strong hand to play with two good chances set to line up. The Alex Park newsdesk spoke to Andrew to assess his duo’s chances for this Friday’s season ending meeting at The Park.

Race 3 (2) Lucky Fortune -“He has finally turned a corner and has come back into the sort of form we know he can show. It has taken him all season to come back to something like his best since he had that fall at the Jewels last season but we have worked and worked on him to iron out his issues and we are really happy with where he is at. He is in the zone, he is trotting well and in a similar field to what he has run first & second in over the past couple of weeks, he must rate another strong top three chance.”

Race 8 (3) Turnbulls – “We are very happy with where this horse is at and how he has come up for his first up outing. He is no superstar and he had a minor injury during his break which has meant he has taken a little while to get back to the track but he is well over that now and looking in tip top order. He has strengthened up a great deal over the break and he is working really well at home. He won a workout on the weekend and albeit only in a moderate time, he did it well and showed us he is ready to go a big race. Both of our two should go well on Friday but given the makeup of the fields that they race against, I would rate this guy our best winning chance of the night.”
