Oaks Night styles it up after dark

Racing offers the perfect opportunity to embrace fashion, and we encourage guests to take the opportunity to mix up traditional racewear, with evening glam, and a dash of personal flair.

Racegoers to Oaks Night on the 28th February are encouraged to put their fashion foot forward and dial it up after dark.

Alexandra Park Sales and Marketing Manager, Kim Walsh says, “Racing offers the perfect opportunity to embrace fashion, and we encourage guests to take the opportunity to mix up traditional racewear, with evening glam, and a dash of personal flair.”

As the sun goes down and the lights come up, trackside fashion comes out to play, and this year’s Northern Oaks event will offer racegoers the added incentive of some great prizes. Plus one racegoer will take away a 9ct White Gold Tanzanite & Diamond Ring valued at $1,199 courtesy of long-standing supporter of Alexandra Park, Pascoes the Jeweller.

Pascoes Marketing Manager Kathryn Frankland says, “For the past 27 years, Pascoes has been a sponsor of Alexandra Park’s Northern Oaks Race. We are extremely proud to have had such a long-standing relationship with the Northern Oaks.”

To help racegoers get primed for Oaks Night, social personalities, @cerijuice and @victorialouisefuller will be reaching out to their followers with a great competition offer. Be in to win tickets for you and three friends to Oaks night, plus get a helping hand in the fashion stakes with a $250 voucher to spend at Flo & Frankie on their new Among the Brave brand.

Kim says, Flo & Frankie captures the spirit of the event and promises to “Encourage women to embrace their greatness.”

Style spotters throughout the night, Ceri and Vicky will be trackside for the final call on best-dressed man and best-dressed woman of the night. A keen follower of racing fashion, Ceri, is looking for an evening take on traditional racewear.  For Vicky, she is looking out for “Exciting and bold combinations out there that capture individual style and edge.
