Do. Fridays. Different.

Alexandra Park urges Aucklanders to ‘Do. Fridays. Different.' Friday night races promise after work entertainment that promises more than just a bar.

Alexandra Park urges Aucklanders to ‘Do. Fridays. Different.’ with their iconic Friday Night Races entertainment and hospitality. Alexandra Park Sales and Marketing Manager, Kim Walsh says, “Friday night races have been part of Auckland’s entertainment culture since the 1950’s, and the experience has grown both in appeal and ages, with much of the younger crowd now seeking out after work entertainment that promises more than just a bar.”

With a range of hospitality options on offer from dining and drinks to excellent gastropub fare at the popular Alex Bar & Eatery and a carvery buffet for only $22.50pp, Alexandra Park has something for all tastes and budgets. Kim says, “It’s a great place to get a bunch of friends together or work colleagues and enjoy awesome sports action up close and live together with a top-class food and beverage option, plus of course the bonus of free gate entry and racebooks.”

Throughout the year, Alexandra Park offers themed race nights which are best presented through authentically themed buffet feasts that share the exotic flavours of different cultures along with premium dining offers.

Located on the fifth floor is Alexandra Park’s premier dining and function facility, ‘Top of the Park,’ offers premium banquet dining on selected race nights and commanding views of the track and finishing post. Ticketed events are sold for ‘Top of the Park’ and Tasman Room. Plus the Lyell Creek Lounge on the first floor is open to members, owners, trainers and public every Racenight

With the gates opening at 5.30 pm and the first race starting around 6.00 pm, Alexandra Park is perfectly timed for an immediate after work experience. Parking is free, and the central location is also convenient for alternative  transport options.
